I would just like to preach about the joy's of plasterboard...
My first movie on Saturday was hardly Oscar standard, and it definitely needed a few bright spots to perk things up a bit. One of them was the finale. We were planning to have the baddie get hit with a fake rock, untill Dad came up with a stirling idea of Plasterboard, which he'd get from work.
Little bit of brown shoe polish, and nobody could tell it was a real plank of wood. One firm wack over my head *ouch* with it, and snap, a lovely 'wood smashing over someones head' effect.
For fight scenes, plasterboard is the way forward!

A lox level of casualties are acceptable as long as it does not involve oneself

Exactly, or the law once they get involved it starts to cost money, and then you can't finish the film.

They always used to re-write plots on Dynasty, because they actors kept goig on holidays, and yacht cruises during filming!
"Oh blake, don't walk out on me, I'm so helpless"
"Crystal, I don't care much for what you think, Alexis is the woman for me - I'm going away for a while with her to a horse riding holiday in Monaco!"

But those plots are so out theire that anything goes, you could have little green men and the audeance would buy it as long as people were still sleeping togther.

That had to be one of my favorites! I think the movie remake didn't do it justice! The new robot was a pile of doggy doo! And the Will Robinson character was just arrogantly annoying!

The movie, was to sereus, and played like a bad episode of Star Trek, as oposed to the way it should have been done extremly campy. But Gary Oldman played a crapy Dr. smith.

They pop up all the time and the movies they are in suck usualy. The only good movie with a friends cast member is Office Space, Jinnifer Anistan. And well Band of brothers was cool even if it has david Shwimer.
