I bought two packs of CD-Rs for a dollar each and here's what it says on the package.
"Compatible with all leading CD-R writers (2x-40x) and readers"
I'm pretty sure that my CD-R writer is faster than 40x. Will I be able to copy things on to the CD-R with no problem? Are there any certain things I'll have to do to or look for to make the content I put on there high quality?

RE: A Question About CD-Rs
There is also an 8X speed. I have the 8X speed as well, if the DVD disks do not support 8x, the fastest it will burn is 4. Your disks say up to 4, so you will only be able to burn up to 4times speed. It's not quality, just how long it takes to burn.

RE: A Question About CD-Rs
I believe he's talking about regular CD-R's.
Anyway, if your's is above 40x, set the burn on manual and set the write speed to a lower value so it will be compatible.
