It's fine, I don't expect a young teenage male who's favorite movie is predator to be turned on by the idea of a romantic comedy. The movie is simply about a shotgun wedding (hence the title). Rewatch the trailer and you can see the boy getting forced to propose to his girl and then being forced to go through and marry her. It's rather difficult to try to make a romantic comedy when you're a low budget indie filmmaker. Shoot, the entire genre is a lot harder to make then you may give it credit. The advantage to a movie like this instead of making war movies is that I get to cast hot local actresses, oh yeah. If you go to my website and look at the pictures for Shotgun for Mary you can see the setup I used to make the movie. The primary and secondary cameras were XL1s. Occasionally we also had some Sony VX2000 as third and fourth cameras.

Like everyone else said, AMAZING camera techniques, however I have no clue what the movie is about??? Just a boy, a hot girl, and her dad??? Could be my trip to the supermarket or something? Im sure it has a great plot but with no dialoge how am I to know... But I gotto look into a crane or something, very nice!

You and I3lade203 are a tad clueless. It's the same thing as Meet the Parents but with a twist. Watch it again.

Thanks Epsilon. I thought it would be rather obvious what was going on. Meet the Parents was a huge influence. Sort of that movie but combined with a shotgun wedding.

I wouldn't get my hopes up for downloading it, I can't say I've seen a film over 25 minuites online at a time ever.

It's a spoof of the Indiana Jones films & it 74 minutes long, also there's a few other fanfilms online at TFN that are 1 hour long. 'The Formula' springs to mind...
