Do we have to worry about Firefox now too?

I just ran a scan with spybot and noticed that there were several spyware tracking programs monitoring Mozilla Firefox. I thought this was supposed to be the IE killer? Myabe next I'll have to try Avant Browser

I uninstalled Mozilla because of spywere problems, infact, my adaware thing showed tons of stuff let in thru that.....i use IE now with google tool bar....

Tracking cookies are read in EVERY browser so long as you have cookies enabled... which would be really tough not to, particularly since sites like MH use cookies to validate your login... The only type of spyware that Mozilla is 'safe' from are the ones using Active-X.. onbly because Mozilla doesn't run Active-X objects...
And keep one thing in mind ... Mozilla descended from Netscape's browser... AFTER IE had killed Netscape LOL Ahh those were the good old days, when the user logs showed 95% of the users drove Netscape... now, those numbers are all but reversed. A couple other problems with Firefox.. from a designers standpoint.. it is a pain in the neck! One of the 'selling' points is that it is 'standards compliant' and it is, it just doesn't implement all standards...
Like IFrame ( HTML 4.x standards and XHTML 1.0 standards) Apparently FF does not support it because the tag was dropped in XHTML 1.1, it still however is in the HTML standards...
It's rendering is also a bit off what would be expected, pareticularly with CSS....
in a word... if you secure IE by disabling active X it is as tight as FF is, and renders things correctly, with more support for CSS styles that affect page layout...

I dont have active X installed, i get prompted all the time to install it, forget it, its not needed.
