15 principal characters + 30 (or more) extras + 10 crew for one scene on my last movie. It was quite the logistical challenge but really well worth it and it looks awesome on screen. When you're directing that many people you have to be very well planned out. I had the principal actors and crew on set for nearly all day (10 hours) but had all the extras for like a 3 hour time (so I didn't have to feed them), though I did give them drink and cake. It was funny to watch all the extras trying to figure out who the director was so they could give me their headshot and resume.

I found out after reading the script again, it was -

-2 main characters (both kids me and friend)

-16 extras (2 adults and 14 kids)

-5 crew

TOTAL - 23 :D

Very tiring as the kids got bored and tires plus we were all wearing zombie makeup!

What's with all the round numbers???

Image

Just this lot of zombies really, with my mum, dad, sister, cousin and uncle playing the innocent bystanders...

I only had one behind the scenes crew member that day too, who was busy throwing up all day due to a party the night before, so it felt I had a lot on my hands!

So 12 people

12 is the most I've ever had on the set, and that was for a shootout that involved alot of planning.

Er, 14 main characters, 25 extras and 6 crew! And the film isn't finished yet! Can't give away too much! (It's a gangster bar scene! I paid everyone a quid!)

So 45 people.

Church, mess load of Mormons around and they're all willing to Mormon it up in Mormon films. But for Forgotten I was just lucky enough to have a mess load of friends sickly obsessed with WWII as much as I am.
