Specialized E-mail addresses

Post by pan-modo_pictures »

I often see many e-mail addresses that use the websites name, so it's like name@yoursite.com. I was pretty sure this was some account given if your register a .com, but I also saw someone that had an email like this, contact@website.tk. So Im not sure people can get them?

Sure. If you own website.tk, then you can do whatever you want with the e-mail addresses!

It has nothing to do with the registration of the domain, but with the hosting... most hosting providers give you a virtual SMTP/POP3 mail server. There may be some limit ont ehnumber of email users you can have. Our host is like $10.00 per month, but we have unlimited email accounts @theundergroundtv.com. Of course email traffic does count as part of your monthly bandwidth useage..

Sorry for bringing this up again, but it does work. The only problem is that if I want to email someone back it is not the name@mywebsite.com, but name@hotmail.com where the mail forwards to. Is there any way I can send an email and show the specialized address?
