Note to firewire 800 users...Don't download Windows SP2!!!

Just had someone tell me that if you use firewire 800, installing service pack 2 that was just released my microsoft will limit the bandwidth to 400! This means no matter what speed your firewire ports allow, you will be stuck using first generation firewire. Just thought i'd let you guys know, so you don't get ripped off.

firewire 800 is a newer technology that is twice the speed of standard firewire. Most computers don't come standard with it yet as far as i know. It's just like what usb 1.0 is to usb 2.0.

Phew! I like XP as it is. I absolutely hated ME, it gave me problems with everything.
