Reading Rainbow and Channel Changing

Post by copydog »

I have been looking all over the net for the past few days for 2 sound files:

1 - The Reading Rainbow sound effect. the "da-da-DUN" after they say "Dont take my word for it.

2- The sound that happens when you change channels on the radio. Like, how you will hear a split second of a station, then fuzzy, then something else.

The radio thing is easy.... Just record a radio being messed with! I mean, that's simple enough...
.... As for the 'Reading Rainbow' thing... well, that's a bit trickier. I'll keep my eye out, though.

Try coming across an old episode of Reading Rainbow and just record it from that. Or if you know it very well by heart, then get one of those techno makers and try mixing it up yourself.
