Gun Flashes without Adobe ( question in guest book)

As not everyone has a Non Linear Editor like Adobe or Ulead. This is what you would have to do to create a similar effect. The first thing to do is to capture some fotage either using an analogue capture card or digitally using an firewire card. Using either Corel Photo paint or Paint shop pro open the clip. If the clip is say 10 seconds long then you should have about 250/300 frames. Download the gun flash from the site resize it and paste it onto the one or two of the frames. You will have to make the background transparent using a mask. save the results.
