Ok...
When i burn dvd's they work on some dvd players and not on others? has anyone encounted this problem and possibly have a solution or explenation for why this happerns, me and my assosiate beleve it has something to do with the brand of the dvd prog. but...... hhmm

Sounds to me like the format you're burning the DVDs as. It's not that the players are bad, it's just that some players offer more features than others, and can read additional files that aren't necessarily in a universal DVD format.
Bit like my car CD player being able to play MP3s.
