Every game records real guns, not just medal of honor! It's best to record sounds yourself because then you are aren't playing with copyrights and you can do exactly what you want.

Try http://www.sounddogs.com, it has lots. But beware, in the animation I did awhile ago, I tried to use some sounds from there in premiere 6.5, and every time I imported them, premiere would say it has performed an illegal operation and close, when I didn't use those sound effects it was fine. Maybe this is just mine, but I don't know.

That’s a fair point but, my question is how would they know you’re using their sound effects?

Sounds like a personal bug to me, because I've used their sounds and haven't anything like that come up. Then again, I'm not entirely familiar with 6.5 so... maybe. :?

If they think your sounds are suspicous, they can take a copy of the final product and match the waves up with their originals. Even with compression, there will be a close mathematical similarity. Plus signal processing these days is top notch to matching waves.

Great sounds, Mushiman.

You don't want to convert them to mp3s. Wav are uncompressed, mp3s are compressed and lossy.

Yes-ok but, if you really want the sound then you can deal with the compression loss. Just a possible solution
