Can Premier Pro run on an AMD Athalon 3200+ 64Bit?

That's the processor I'm aiming for, but I heard that Premier Pro doesn't run on Thunderbirds. Would it run on this?

Also, is the MacG5 the best for video editing?

It runs on it as far as I know (most programs are athlon compatible unless they are REALLY old to my knowledge). Although I don't use premiere so I really cant say for sure. Check adobe.com. And, if I were you, I wouldn't buy a mac. Because there is NO way to transfer the stuff you already use (especially a lot of programs and such) over from PC to mac. It would be a huge hassle.

Excatly on the G5, most apps fopr MAC are slightly more expensive. I see no reason PRO would not run on the Athlon 64, I have run it quite well on Dual AthlonMP 2600's and a single Athlon XP 3200 , Todays AMD chips are definitely NOT Thunderbirds!!!
