Fake knifes

Post by pan-modo_pictures »

I need two knifes, and I really do not want to use real knifes. Here are my options. Grind down the blade of a real knife and blunt it. Or make a fake one.

Yeah that's what I was thinking since nobody actually even gets stabbed with it, and real knifes are cheap to buy also.

What are you doing?

I have a slit-throat with a straight razor. I'm using an angle gauge for the medium shots and the straight razor for close-ups. Since you don't get to see the slash, but the brutality (as well as a healthy baseball bat beating) I didn't opt for close-ups of the razor in the slashing shot. If I did, I'd have bought two (one for establishers and one for the practical effect) and ground one to a round blade so as to not cause any harm.
