How do you fade in and fade out music or a clip in adobe premiere or change the volume of music i have playing during a clip?

For Premiere 6.5 or lower
to fade video>place clip on track 2 or higher, expand the clip with the little triangle button on the side of the time line. Then just adjust the little band.
for audio> same thing as video, but on the audio track.

for Premiere Pro
select the clip> go to the effect contols tab, add a keyframe that adjust the clip how you like, add another keyframe and so on. Same with audio.

Well I use Vegas 4 and it is very handy for volume changes.
If you are going to use quite compared to loud try to use surround for a very special effect.
