Anyone here know where i can get some free stock footage? I need some cool animated muzzleflashes, bullet holes etc

I know about Detonation films, but their Stock footage is not very good. I found this page: http://www.artbeats.com

I promise you that i have never ever seen such good looking stock footage! But its not for free, and the strange part is that 30 clips costs 499$ but 1 clip costs 149$? Very strange

Theres not many stock footage sites out there free, detination films is one of the best

Yeah yeah. We've all seen artbeats before. If you have hundreds of dollars to pay for a stock clip, then go for it. Most of us don't.

You can gets lots of stock footage clips off of DC++, not quite sure on the leagality of them all.

www.videometry.com gives you a free clip each week if you sign up for their site, whcih is also free. You've got nothing to loose. Although many of the clips are nature related.

I've built up a pretty good stock footage library of outdoors and urban scenes by downlaoding free weekly clips for the past 5 or so months.

Although right now they are cycling through clips from their "people" and "food" series, which is kind of useless and stupid. if I want a pic of a chef or food, I could go down to a cafe! lol

And what's DC++?

Uhhh, you do realize that good quality stock footage is ussually in excess of 40 or 50 megs, right? That would be a little to big to send as an attachement.

Well, im sitting on 2,5mbit adsl, so it wont take that long time (depends on your connection to offcourse). But i wont need ALL stock footage, just the best of them (explosions and muzzleflashes)
