Is Vivo The Same As Having A Capture Card?

Post by Vamp »

If I get a Geforce FX59xx with VIVO, will I be able to use the VIVO as a capture card and use software like Adobe PRemiere or the native software for the crappy capture card I have now, to capture analogue video?

I'm 99.99% certain your ViVo (Video In/Video Out) card will have the facility to capture analogue video from either S-VHS or Composite (via a VCR). If it also comes with a tuner (which I doubt) you will also be able to capture direct from TV.
Cheers :D
