What do these parts do? (Retro Super 8 Camera HELP!)

Hi I baught my first super 8 camera today im used to the flash digital cams... i need to know what some of the parts do since im totally lost... the camera is a sankyo super 5x and i need to know what the parts labeled do exactly.

a. appears to be zoom or something but then i think c controls zoom aswell?
b. appears to be some sort of frame speed it is labeled "slow motion"
c. same as a?
d. could be exposure? it has auto, man'l and clamp.
can anyone else help out?

OK, these are guesses:
a: Vaguely looks like a handle for the focus ring.
b: Slow Motion? Just do what I do with my cam, press it and see what it does when you record! :D
c: Very definately zoom. Wide and Tele(photo) are the W and T buttons on cameras. Wide is zoom out, and Tele is zoom in.
d: See b.

what will you do with that cam insert coin ? dont you have a dv camcorder ?

to get the authentic amatuer film look im going to use this camera and film little 3 minute skits and stuff for fun... my dv cameras are good but dont get the film look and with magic bullet and all this stuff i got i still dont think it looks good enough so im going for the real thing...

youll need to get some sort of tape recorder for audio, it dosent look like it has any sort of audio capability.

In fact, this camcorder do not record audio..... so maybe you can use your dv camcorder to record the audio... ( if you need to... )
