More explosive help

Post by Famous »

For one of my movies a man will step on a mine and get shot back down.
I'm planning to put a microphone next to the cap or firework then it will seem bigger.
Do you know how to make a small Roll Caps or Firework explode on a detonater?
thanks

i use this technique

u will need:
9V battery
small wires
pacer lead (those really thin leads that go in refillable pencils)
caps
needle

1. take needle and poke it through the cap (make sure it goes through the gunpowder bit) dont worry it wont explode if u do it fairly slowly

2. insert the pacer lead into the hole created by the needle and out the other side of the cap eg. -0-

3. bare wires and wrap positive wire around one end of the lead and the negative around the other end

4. hook 1 (and only 1!) wire up to the battery. connecting the second wire will cause the lead to glow and burn, igniting the cap

just repeat these instructions for multiple caps (or use a nailboard)

Yeah. Unfortunately, people are getting lazy, and posting before they search the forum. There are dozens of topics on explosions/explosives. If, after searching the forum, you still need more specifics, post a clear question.

Tons are just saying "I need an explosion." Congratulations! Search the forum...
