Great idea for plot

Post by rankz »

I just had an idea for a film. i am new to film making but i think i could make this one.
2 People go missing in the forests for ages, and are all ways trying to find a way out. They have no food or anything, and one dies. The other person is really hungry and eats him. Then slowly this person starts adpting to the woods, growing huge talons and huge muscles and a feirce personaltiy.
A year later, during a larger searce for the people, the police find the carcus of the other person. Meanwhile the monster finds a small village and he attacks one house. The police work out that a monster has eaten one person from the lost trekkers and the same monster killed the people from the house in the village.

I havent yet thought of an end but what do think so far?

Wasn't there this one movie (Instinct I think) that was basically about that? Sean Connery and Anthony Hopkins, I'm pretty sure.

i think you're talking about "The Edge" starring Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin, it's about a billionaire and two other men who are stranded by a plane crash in a dangerous wilderness

There's also a french film with a similar story called "L'enfant savage" (English: The Wild Child) based on a true story of a boy who was abandoned in the forest as a child and somehow survived into his teens. Years later he was found and french researchers tried to domesticate him.

I have an idea:

because a man walking his dog finds the carcass and the police re-open the case? That's logical!

Woah where did this come from??

I just want to point out if your new, you might want to start smaller then doing a whole film; mabye start off with 2 min shorts, and work your way up.
