Doing Muzzle flashes in vegas 4

i just got vegas 4 and i am having a hard time figuring out how to do muzzle flashes....i used preimere to do them but when i import them it vegas they don't play at the correct speed and they seem slow.....if someone could tell me how to creat a muzzle flash in vegas or give me a link towards a turitol then that would be great....thanks

If you have Adobe Photoshop(any type) you can cut around a picture of fire into a wavy sharp pattern.Then go to Vegas 4 and paste on the clip.

yeah i know how do do muzzle flashes with photophop....but i was just wondering if their was a quicker way to do them in vegas itself.....but thanks anyway

I use Vegas 4...and so far i'm been looking and it says nothing on muzzle flashes.

It's simple. I figured it out. All you have to do is get one of the photo's of the flames from matthawkins, then you put them in the first layer and key out the backround and place it on the screen where you want it and wallah! :D

He said with Premire, but I myself am baffled to why it would not work at the correct speed after being imposted to Vegas????

Well it was just the preview window playing the clip slower than the rest of the clips that were captured with vegas, I think it might just be the DV codec that I used to export the file in premiere because after it rendered with the rest of the movie in vegas, it played fine.
