Scrubbing to firewire... is it possible in After Effects?

Scrubbing to firewire... is it possible in After Effects?
Hmm well the subject pretty much covers it LOL I know that when you scrub in Premiere you can make it be exported through the firewire and i use that feature to see how it will look on TV but can you do it with the Comp window in After Effects?
