EASY AND FAST LIGHTSABER

Yo this is Swanny.

Me and my friends are filming a mini series to go along with our movies and one of the episodes requires a lightsaber fight.
Im not really big on any special effects stuff or anythin(our movies our usually based on street fighting) so i need some help on makin some quick and easy lightsaber effects.
Any tips/programs/websites?

after effects is one of the only ways to do it quickly. photoshop takes forever.
