Adobe Premiere: Help!

new to editing and that particular progie. i can edit alright, but it seems that no matter HOW i change the export settings i still dont get very a good quality image.

be it avi or mpeg small res and even with very little compression and high quality set i STILL end up with a video that is poorer overall quality then what i started with. i dont get it! help me please.

Try changing the Field Options for the Clip. Right click the clip in the timeline > Video Options > Field Options

Make sure both the 'video options' dialogue box and the 'video export' when you export your movie have the same resolution, and a high-ish one at that!
