Need a faster Avi2Mpeg converter plz

Plz help me. i'm trying to find a Avi-mpeg converter that is fast. i mean i download alot of program that convert avi2mpeg, but when it convert my Avi2Mpeg, it would take forever. for example, i'm converting one right now, and it taken me 3 day already, this is way to long i think. if you can, plz help me find a better converter that can convert Avi2Mpeg faster. also put down the trl for me so i can dl it here, thank you.

Er, what resolution are you using? If it's anything over 352x288 then it's gonna be really slow! And even using that resolution, a whole feature film would probably be an overnight render type situation.

What are your system specs. A slow system will deliver slow results, it may not be the program's or compression's fault.

I can achieve about a 1:4 ratio ie 1 second of footage take about 4 seconds to encode.

Definetly Adam, that sounds about right here also. Depends on the compression a lot, but 3 days is a bit steep. We must help this person!
