yeah! I may be getting a cam today, and I was thinkin on the Canon ZR 60 or the ZR 70
here is the web page:
http://canondv.com/zr60/zr60_flash.html
what do you think about it, do you recomend it to me? its about 900 dollars the 70 and the 60 is around 670 dollars, do you think the option for memory card/photos is worth paying 230 more?
I think it pretty much has everything needed for digital video editing, what do you think about it?

I've never seen a great photo from a digital camcorder!
Pay the extra and get a cheap digital camera instead if you want to take photos!
Hopefully you lot can prove me wrong, this was the case about 2 years ago!

You may get a similar deal on a different camera if you shop around at electrical stores that do DV cameras.

dont get the memory card option for 230 more. if you really need a photo then you can just take a frame from your video that looks good.

Yeah, I would go with the cheaper one without the memory option. I rarely use it on mine and its really bad quality when i do. My friend has a canon ZR 60 and it works great.

i usually just pick a good frame from a movie for pictures. one thing i really like about the canon XL-1s is the frame mode option so you have tons of frames with great quality.
