THE GORE THE MERRIER
I, being a fan of gore in movies, am curious to see some of the goriest scenes from some of your films. But please, post them as jpg's and not movies because my computer is from the stone-age and can't handle it.
Once I get some of the pics from CHUMP CHANGE, I'd be happy to contribute.

I believe BRAIN DEAD is the same movie I keep referring to on this site as having great effects and gore. But I've been calling it DEAD ALIVE. Ithink that's because BRAIN DEAD is the European title and I own the American version. Fortunately, the only difference is the title.

If you like horror films as well as gore, try the movie "Virus." Not sure if you've seen it or not. That movie freaked me for a couple days when I first saw it 2 years ago.

Day of the Dead has the best gore ever! Without a doubt it is the undisputed champ. But Dead Alive, and Bad Taste are both great too. The Bad Taste special edition DVD has a great documentary about how Peter Jackson made the movie. Very DIY. He even made the guns himself out of fimo, wood, and metal tubing. Absolutely amazing.
Anyway, my gore recommendation is Ichi the Killer. It's a japanese movie, just a year or two old. There is a European DVD available, but people in America will have to download it. Make sure you see the uncut version. Very good and imaginative gore.
Some of my home made gore is, as usual on my movie page:

Day of the Dead is some of the best gore I've seen. George A. Romero is THE MASTER of the Zombie Horror genre.

ACTUALLY,
Romero is coming out with a new movie. He's written and cast it already. It's going to be yet another installment in his "Dead" series (Night of the living Dead, Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead). It's going to be called DEAD RECKONING. So, I think we can all look forward to that!

I don't think the majority of the public really care about the quality of storyline in those types of movies, they just go for the gore.

it is from Evil Dead 2. I think I'll go get a different avatar. A SCARIER AVATAR.
