go to artbeats.com they have great stock footage. you get a free dowloadable fire stock footage when you register which is really good. and then you can ask them to send you some sample stock footage on a cd in the mail. i just got my cd today and it is sweet. it has a lot of great stuff like fires, muzzle flashes, ground hits, explosions, aerial shots, clouds shots, and more. there must be at least 100 clips and i got it free.
Hmm... interesting... However, the only problem being that Artbeats isn't free... but sure... But good luck with what you got, however you may have managed to get it...
sign up for videometry.com's membership. It costs nothing and you get a free clip from their library every week. I've gotten some pretty nice ones in the past
i went to videometry.com and their free clips each week suck. i dont need stock footage of a windsurfer falling. i need stuff like fire, explosions, etc.
Well for one, I agree, that clip sucks (pretty pointless) But in the past I have gotten nice ariels, and other scenes. I love the explosions too but I also use serene scenes like those for backgounds on paid projects I do for people. But if you are looking for action clips, you are better going to artbeats. Sorry I didn't make that clear. The olnly free fire/ explosions site I have heard of is detonation films (http://www.detonationfilms.com) But I'm sure most of the people on this forum have been there already. Buit if you are really looking for good fire, etc, its unfortunately going to cost you.
Just got my Artbeats DVD demo. Amazed it came through so quickly. Has got previews of all their footage sets. Unfortunately there aren't any full resolution clips to use
Their stock footage is great. Shame the previews are a bit too small to use.
