I was promoting my book and this guy got p*** and told me to bug off and die, so I made this video for him.

Shot with the Canon HF S200 http://amzn.to/j52s1X
The book can be found at http://www.RebelWithoutADeal.com
Special thanks to the genius of Andrew at http://VideoCoPilot.net

Love to hear your thoughts.

I've been an After Effects user for over a decade, but I mostly used it for fixes and the occasional titles. This was the most complex and ambitious After Effects project I ever attempted. I turned to VideoCoPilot.net/tutorials/

I employed the following tutorials in order of appearance.
#116 Crumble
#88 Disintegration
#96 Submerge
#41 Blue Planet
#40 Earth Zoom
#67 Advance Car Hit
#13 Assisted Suicide
#97 Lightning Strike

After watching the tutorials, I planned my shots so they would integrate with the tutorials properly and I could interlink them.

I then cut my shots in Final Cut to choose the best and time them correctly. For example, the twins in the garage. I laid the clips over each other, set the top at 50% transparency then moved it around to time the entrance so neither character overlapped. Then I brought the clips into After Effects and use the pen tool to animate a mask.

I also used the following two vids for Key Light Green screening.

And these two for Color Correction

Don't forget to share the video. It only goes viral if you share it.

As soon as I saw that pickup truck in the underground car park I knew what tutorial you were about to use :)

Good video.

Haven't got your book yet but it has finally made it onto my Amazon wish list!
