I have used it, and am familiar with it.
My problem is that it is rather unstable, and slow - a big NONO for us filmmies (did I just make a new slang term for us).
Other programs that we use are more expensive, but can do a lot more with much more stability.
Not to forget Movie Maker - it's great too.

I used to use it for all my editing, but then when i learnt it didnt have a bluescreener, i switched to premiere pro.
I still use it now to crompess my files for youtube and when I dont want a full version of the file.
Speaking of witches, Im getting 11 plus, just for the sake of being better then 9 SE.

i use it !!! its realy slow once u have over 5 minutes of footage on there i think its pinnacle 9 something its a step up from movie maker though although there are certain things you can do in movie maker u cant do in pinnacle which is a bummer, like losing the sound in slow motion, i mean what the heck ?????

I know a friend of mine that dies by Pinnacle, yet he can edit just as well as any moron using Premiere or FinalCut.
It's not really a matter of what you're using, just what comes out. I know alot of people who think I'm kidding when I say I still use Windows MovieMaker (with a combo of AE)- but believe or not, it comes out just as good as Premiere.

Yep, use what works for you. If you are OK with what Pinnacle can do, and can accept its quirks (all editing programs have their own!), then stick with it. We each have our favorites, and we're biased, so go with what you like, not what we like. If you are unsatisfied with your program, check out any editing program's site. They'll be sure to have a trial version that you can test out.
Good luck.
