hand held motion transplant

I used the motion from this clip:
http://www.yafiunderground.com/Video/stabtest-mot.mov

to apply to this clip:
http://www.yafiunderground.com/Video/stabtest-in.mov

which is first smoothed to make a clean motion palette:
http://www.yafiunderground.com/Video/stabtest-stab.mov

which ends up looking like this:
http://www.yafiunderground.com/Video/stabtest-out.mov

This can be used to put realistic motion onto completely artificial scenes to add some realism to it. Camera motion is one of the things that bothers me in SFX.
