In order to become more accustomed to After Effects, I decided to make a star wars video. This film was made in order to promote school spirit, furthur my cinematography skills, sharpen my After Effects and 3D animation skills, and to have fun.
comments and suggestions welcome
enjoy

It was ok. Your use of lightsabers wasn't consistent though, sometimes they were acting as if they were heavy and other times not,
there were also some shots where they were suppod to be running, but you could see them standing still waiting for action.
The 3d ships could use some work too.

I intend to replace the scene with 3D with this scene.
would that improve the preview?

well, i spent 3 days tweaking the 3D, making it as good as i can.
how's that?
an improvement from the 3D in the preview?

Yeah. I mainly made this for effects practice and filming practice.
I had to make a script, and scriptwriting's not my strong point.
But while there may be little plot, it will be (I hope) entertaining. What else can a filmmaker hope for?
