Hello,

My James Bond Movie Risico Will be filmed soon,and Im new to this but how do you do muzzle flashes with sony vegas 6.0 and explosions??

Well I don't have sony vegas 6 but I presume you can screen things. It's easy you get a clip or picture of a muzzle flash, move the track over the base track and line up the muzzle flash. Then you screen your muzzle flash to get rid of the black background.

Alternatively you could take a freze frame of the moment a gun fires and then in something like photoshop add a muzzle flash. Put that picture in the storyline for about a fourish frames, add a sound effect. Vala!

for explosions you can go to http://www.detonationfilms.com
they have some good free explosion footage there you can download. if you have a luma/screen key you can use most of the explosions, because they're filmed with a black background. you'll need a chroma plugin to use the footage filmed aginst blue or green.

I know it's a bit late, but you can use the effect "Cookie Cutter" to make something that look like muzzle flashes
