Fina Cut Pro Help

Hey guys, usually don't ask for help but am pressed with time and started learning FCP (from Premiere)

I need to know how to make it as if a person is going thorugh a blue "portal/wormhole". I know how to crop and matte but need to know how to add and where to get a moving wormhole. I want the portal to be where the arm is entering nothing, hope you understand. Also it would be great to know where to get the portal video and how to set it up in FCP.

Right...first you need wormhole footage. I'm presuming you have FCP legally so you'll have LiveType with it. LiveType is meant for title sequences but has a wormhole effect in it. You can use that.

Now you want someone to fall into the wormhole? I suppose you green/blue screen them falling backwards. Then you go to 'Video Key' I believe it is, in the effects panel and drag 'Greenscreen' or 'Bluescreen' onto the canvas. A tab will appear on the canvas which you click on and then you change the specifics of the key and then drag that onto the clip you want to key.

Put the clip of the wormhole on a track below the clip you are keying. using the wireframe you can drag the person around untill they are in the right place on top of the wormhole.

No I know everything you said, I guess what I'm asking for is where to get a wormhole video (a blue portal like object with feathered edges) and how to make it matted... so an arm can fit through it... never mind I can't explain it well. BTW I don't see it in LiveType which is a text/video based program?

If you go into LiveType go to "Objects" on the right hand side and then from the drop-down menu select either Digital or Space and it's in there.
