rain

I have done something very silly. I have decided over the weekend i am going to make a film for a film festival. from go to whoa, editing and everything. as i havn't done that much film stuff, this is a hell of a task for me.

some scenes have rain in them, so i went and got the rain effect from detonation films site. I cant seem to make it work. How do you do it?

Nice work there. I'm not sure about the stock footage of rain, but I always prefer to do things as a physical effect. Check out my post in the Rain sticky on the Physical Effects page; worked pretty good from me.

The grave looks sweet. You can use Cycore effects' rain plugin, where u can choose how fast the rain falls, how big the drops are, etc. And its all free on the after effects disk (if u have after effects).
