Gunshot and Blood FX

Post by MGH »

I have got a squib, but I have noticed that they produce kind of a spurt of blood. I was just wondering how I could achieve more of a mist, instead of one weak little spurt. Also, I am sure there is a post on this somewhere in the forum, but what is the best way to achieve muzzle flash?

I don't know about the blood thing but for muzzle flashes, check out the tutorials section on this forum or you could download some from detonationfilms.com or you can get VisionLab pro over at FXhome.com

Do it digital: get some smoke stock from Detfilms then colorize it dark red.

I attached the head of a perfume sprayer to my hose to make a mist, it works pretty well, but you have to pum the bug sprayer a ton.
