Face Rip and Chainsaw (PLEASE HELP)

Post by MGH »

In a new film I am making one character rips, only partially, the skin off another character's face. Also, he cuts the guy's arm off with a chainsaw. I have some ideas, but how would you guys recommend I do these scenes.

Right, someone will be able to hit you up with some more detailed advice I'm sure, but for the face I say liquid latex all the way and for the arm I suggest you watch the DVD special features for the 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead, it contains a very detailed explination of a chainsaw cutting into somebody. Welcome to the forums by the way!

Ewww...you don't sound like very nice people, pulling of skin and cutting arms with chainsaw! Very nasty! lol :) You can also bye cheap limbs (lol) from joke shops...which look realistic...or from specialising online sites....which have a wider range at the cost of a bit more to splash out.
