Prosthetics
Hey everyone, I've never tried using prosthetics before and I was curious as to the best way to apply prosthetics to my actors, in a way that they are removable, but won't come off in water.
RE: Prosthetics
i cant help out too much. i wore a few prosthetics for my shorts, for fun, and for halloween but i can only really say use spirit gum or liquid latex adhesives. check around for a water proof brand.

RE: Prosthetics
How do I use liquid latex i've heard that it can damage skin?
RE: Prosthetics
it can, but only if your allergic to it. and if you try to light people on fire with it (dont do it,lol) I have in fact used it beofre, but it melted itself off from sweat and facial movements. It isnt so bad, but your looking for is a stronger type of glue so you should get strong liquid latext application glue.

I wouldnt use latex... i mean its really hot and sweaty and can expand so the face looks bigger that its suppoesd to. I would use a skin colored putty or face mask or somthing... the green face mask would look good with the zombies

Surgical glue is apparently the industry standard for waterproofness, and longevity when attaching prosthetics. Where you would get it I have no idea.
