Why are you tryin to get it back to your cam? You should just burn it to a disc....well i guess if its for a project....this one is a tricky one.

We occasionally get skipping problems or dropouts when dubbing the finished TV shows back to tape. Keep an eye ont hose preview settings so you can duplicate them, also, stop any unneccessary processes and make sur ethe DV device control is set to at least your brand of camera. As far as why to dub back...
A disk only holds about 4.7 GB of raw data, 30 minutes of DV AVI is over the DVD size, and MPEG is too lossy for an archival format, particluarly if you ay ever want to edit the footage again later. Also depending on your delivery destination, it may have to be on tape. Definitely for TV they want a tape. I'm actually dumping three videos back to tape now as we speak for distribution to a couple of Music Video shows outside of our area...

dude is there any intern-ships at the underground, or something. Im trying to go to Point Park in Pittsburgh, PA for cinema and digital art and maybe a minor in broadcasting, but the govt screwed me over in fasfa and isnt giving me jack for finiancial aid, so im thinking about reserves or air force to get the money. But i live only 2 hour away from Altoona and i have relatives that live in altoona.

There may be some things coming up, we are going into reruns at the end of April, or maybe mid May, depending.. WWCP has a star wars marathon starting Saturdays in April, and I think we have like 5 weeks out of 7 we get bumped. and in sweeps month no less LOL. We'll still be producing for teh new fall season, and in fact we have some stuff coming up in Pittsburgh. Shooting some stuff I believe May 10 at PNC park for an event, and we want to try to get something together for a show at the Hard Rock. Drop me an email with a resume bud@theundergroundtv.com and we'll keep yuo posted. I know in September we will definitely need some shooters, if you are enrolled and at PP and we get something we'll see if we can set it up so it's a credit internship.
