Post by movie_freak2 »

I need to brainstorm some ideas for my short movie for a school project. The problem: it can only be 1 minute long! Can i please have some help? ASAP!

be more specific - does it have to be on a certain topic, what are your resources, what is your experience of film making, etc.

Have you been given any guidelines? Have they given/shown you any examples, because I suppose the best one minute films are adverst on television. I saw a great one once when a dog climbed out of a guys mouth - it was banned a week later - to advertise breath freshening mouth wash. It is a bit to advanced for you, but there are some good simple ones.

Why ask us? Do what you want!! Do you want to do a comedy? Do it! Action? Do it!! Whatever you wanna go for , just go for it!! Once you get a genre you want to do, it'll be a bit easier to get a main idea flowing. One minuite long really isn't "The problem" , just a limit.

Go for it.

Personally, if I had to create a one minute movie for school, it'd be of a terrorist attack on the school. :)

Since my high school had a 7 story building, I was going to have a plane crash into it as a joke. One day, a construction crew tore up an entire concrete section right next to the building so there was rubble EVERYWHERE. It was too perfect! I brought the camera and everything to school and... DANG they cleaned it all up in less than a couple hours. I couldn't believe it.
