Final Fantasy 8?

Sound good to you? Me and some friends decided it would be cool to do. If you ever played the games, you know what i mean. Gun blades magic, GFs and finally an epic battle at the end. What do you think of this idea?

While FF8 is slightly looked down upon by the hardcore RPG crowd, I still like it. Personally I wouldn’t try and retell the story of FF8, I would write my own story set in the same world. I would incorporates just enough connections to the game that fans will find it cool, but with a coherent enough story that everyone else will understand what’s going on. I am not saying that would be an easy thing to do, but it would sure be cool!

i know guys, but i like the game, and your right, i should try to retell the story in another way (but it still ties into the world of FF8 because i want to make the gun blades. i have already tried to make a few and they look pretty cool. If you have beaten the game then you know what the lionheart looks like, im gonna find a way to replicate it some how or just use an origional design from the first weapon you get in the game) I know what to do and i know a lot of you are thinking,"come up with an origional idea!!!" I have three different projects im working on right now. Horror, Fantasy, and a Romance story.

i know that, i know. i have played the game enough to know exactly how to reinact every magic they have on there. also i might bring back some of the characters from the game. Which means id have to play Irvine in the movie, cause of my long hair.

ppl chill ok. im still doin the R E movie. My friends are writing theirs and im helping. thats all ok? God itll be a while before the other stories are done. im ready to start my film.

ok listen blade and listen good. I dont ahve the money to get the whole thing started, plus i have been really busy with school too. The props i was makin for the futur movie was a quick thing i put together when i was at a friends house for 15 minutes. You know just as well as i do that it takes not only time and effort to make a movie, but it unfortunately takes cash, cash that i dont have cause i lost my bleeding job. Its not easy trying to find work and maintain homework man. Now im not trying to b**ch here, but back of and cut me a little slack here. we are all in the same boat.

I'd just skip it all and all, nobody on an ameture budget is going to make a good FF movie.

Your props will most likely be fragile unless you used cheap replaceable display swords(these will break after a few takes) and no matter how good a job you think you have done you will probably never impress a real fan of the FF series.

i dont care guys, im at a loss right now for my R E film and im waiting to get the money for it. at least with the FF film i have enough props that i can make a few scenes already. im really tryin here guys. im just helping to do the other two for my friends. they will most likely be mini films anyways, nothing to special.

looks like this one wont be going anywhere anytime soon, cause my friend whose writing the script went to jail yesterday fro bringin brass knuckles into my school. What a dumb a**.I appreciate what you all are doing, and unfortunately i have a habit of always meeting failure or at least to myself. I will give these films my all and the shorts will be even better. I really do appreciate it guys, honestly.
