Crazy walk effect...

How do they do that crazy walk, like in 'Gothika' and alot of japanese movies ?

If i know what you are talking about this is how they do it. You film the person walking really slow and making jerky movements then on adobe premiere or something they speed it up and gives it a freaky look.. i have done it once or twice.

Do you mean like in the ring when Samara comes out of the tv and walks towards him, flickering? If that's what you mean then just get the camera steady and when you edit cut tiny slivers out when you edit.

Or you could have them walk backwards and then reverse the footage in the edit...

we have done whole skits filmed backwards then reverse it in premiere. It is really cool. Ill get it online so you can see tonight
