Hey guys i'm in a rush and I was wondering, I bought my laptop used a while ago and I need to get all thiscrap off, how do I reformat without erasing windows 98

u cant, basicall go to start >> control panel, and start deleteing the programs off there u dont want, or u dont recognize....otherwise if u want a full reformat that will get rid of EVERYTHING, no OS...but ide suggest doing the start control panel idea...

yea, I know how to do the control panel add/remove thing but I need to get like everything off and I was woundering if there would be an easer way, but I guess i'll just do somthing, lol.

Unfortunately it is too late.
Next time you install windows and you main apps use something like norton ghost which can image you hard disk then if you want to recover your comp at anytime it takes just ten mins rather than the drawn out time windows install takes.
