Post by asapfilms »

Hey I have a thing for remaking the fights in Romeo and Juliet... Two I did for school, but this one I did just to complete the trilogy...

Check it out and tell me what you think.

Hey! I liked it, good job. I love Shakespeare. And putting it into Matrix style was actually pretty interesting. Some of the camera work could've used some work, (little sloppy/shaky) but other than that it was exciting and fun to watch. Also, pretty fancy fight choreography. I actually made a MacBeth final action scene between MacBeth and MacDuff but with lightsabers! I'll have to upload that classic someday.

Glad you liked it, the fight stuff took a little bit of practice... As for some of the camera work, my tripod was broke for the first two days of filming...so that sucked

I like it. Very well done, good reciting! :D Much, much better than I've seen it done at school. The biggest thing that needs work are the moving (and nonmoving) camera shots. One of the best tricks I've nailed down well is walking with the tripod and camera. With enough practice, it can look as smooth as a steadicam. ;) Keep up the good work!

Steadicam for christmas? That ain't too shabby, but don't get spoiled with it! :P A newbie he may be, watch him learn and even you can learn from his errors. There really is much two people sharing a similar interest can learn from one another. I look forward to more films like that.

Also some of your gunshots and hits looked like something from a nintendo game!
