Well it seems he took the whole thing down, so i can't listen to it again, but from what i remember it is a track called olympic under the orchestral category. I think it might be the "strings" version to be exact, or possibly "drum kick". I have Pinnacle 7 that I used to use before Vegas so I'm basing this off of the smartsound feature in that.Caveman wrote: Oh yeh - U.S.Amateurfilmmaker... You say the music's from smartsound? Which track? (not being confrontational here - just I haven't heard it so I don't know and i'm interested)

Ornsack, I talked to him over AIM, and realized what it was ment to be. I agree, it looks like starwars! CWF films means something like Corproate world films, and it's supposed to be corporate buildings going to a world or something ( Ask CWF for detail ) and it just dosn't look the part. Now if we ( The audiance ) understood what it ment, we would possibly be able to enjoy it for such a long opener. I think the real problem is we are having trouble understanding what it is, and it being long is not helping. I still hold my point on how openers should be short and sweet ( It sticks into the memory better ) but I must say I was a bit harsh.. it is YOUR opener after all, not mine.
Sigs suck a**.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, was that "constructive, informative, justified and zero boasting involved"???

I've been thinking about this production opener...
Reminds me very much of the Sky Television idents from the 80's and early 90's. Long, meaningless idents, probably to make up for lack of programming but they seemed to work quite well.
Some blasts from the past for ya -

I've seen company logos go on for 2 minutes before as there are, and I never hear complaints over those. I had a sort of hard time understanding what cwf wanted exactly. He told me make something cool and around 30 seconds. Plus if I had a logo to work with, that would have been in place of the wireframe. But cwf says he lost some materials to work with. And critiquing me for not spending much time on it is just rude, I3lade203. I felt it looks rather nice for a whole day's work, plus I was having some fun. And besides that, it was FREE.I3lade203 wrote:30 - 40 seconds is way to long. 8 seconds is the maximum anything ever should be for a production opener.
Personally I would like to see what I3lade203 can create 3d in one full day.
By the way, not once did I think of the Matrix. It's a cross between my Art Attack logo and Rebel Assault 2, for anyone who's curious. Smartsound Is fun to use, though!
