The angle of the tracer in the pic from SPR (two posts up) looks incorrect... it appears too flat. The Germans were firing from emplacements up on the cliff, meaning they were firing down. The tracer in the pic looks like it is parallel with the beach, meaning it came from the GIs who were gathered at the shelf after they had crossed the beach. I am sure there is a plausible explanation.

Haha, nice arm. Though one would think it would be a little bloodier!
The SPR scene may have the tracers coming from lower ground fire. The Germans set up machine gun nests all over the beach, not just in the concrete bunkers. Also the beach wasn't flat, it curved up and down and maybe the angle just appears to be coming from the sand level. Or maybe the compositor was really incompetant! Hard to believe because it takes time to place a fuzzy line in the footage, so chances are he better know what he's doing.

You'll do better here in Canada, if you can make the trip. Ribtor, a local surplus/hardware store has 'Nam era pots complete with liner and cover for $20 CAD. That's less than $15 USD. I may be thinking of shipping them out to anyone interested.

NaziSentry, just an interesting fact I've noticed from that particular SPR shot. If you watch that sequence carefully, notice the stuntman on the right's shovel is made of rubber because it bends like a banana when he falls!
Anyways, Guess What? I'm going to RDD USA today and do some shopping!

WTF?!?!?!? Anyway, I noticed that. I think the bayonet is the same.... Here are some Browning M1919A4 line drawings, they are quite useful.
Too big so here are the links

Also notice the scene where Miller is talking to the guy with the typewriter the guy that gets shot 4 times and one in the leg, notice that in the next scene the hit on the leg is gone!

I actually wrote that mistake into Wallywood.co.uk movie mistakes!
NaziSenty, get that sh*t off my server now. I said no more than one file at a time and you are highly abusing it. Respect the rules or I shall ban thou's IP from the uploads.
ALove, if you actually had read the website, you would have noted the $9 handling fee for orders under $100. I picked my desert BDU shirt today along with some other junk, they didn't have the BDU pants in my size. Nice place, it's actually more of a Military/Law Enforcement store than a military surplus reseller. But still some highly awsome items. I also took photos for ya'll to see what it's about!
