How to make an energy ball?
Ok.. Ryan Wieber made an energy ball that looked pretty good =)
Here's his energy ball: www.home.no/fredriksko/energyball2.mov
his site is down now (ryan-w.com)
But for a long time ago I downloaded his project when he maked the energy ball and the pics he used etc: www.home.no/fredriksko/energy%20burst.rar
If anyone know how to make it, and could say it to me, I would be really appriciated, thanks!

You don't need a parachute to go skydiving. You only need a parachute to go skydiving twice.

Well if I understood you correct, you wanted an energy ball and not some kamehameha thingy shooting from your hands?
well, I would make the energyball in photoshop, and make like four of them and then let them grow on top of eachother in AE...I made a clip like this once, It turned out pretty good

Don't use photoshop energy balls unless you have a lot of time, use the rayan w one, it has a really good energy ball teqiunique , if austin cant give you it I can.

I recommend you attempt it multiples ways. Because there is no right one, decide upon whichever one you like best.

Umm, I said don't use the photoshop ones UNLESS you have lots of time to draw them in frame by frame.. not to entirly not do them... read my post before commenting on itParallax wrote:I3lade203 you shouldnt tell people what not to do... he said he used phtoshop to make them and they looked good. so why not use them?
Thats a really good idea, try doing it one frame photoshop, and if you like it over the ae one, then take the time to draw it onto every frame.

Still you are telling people what to do when there really is no correct answer!
