Good Film, I think i was one of the few people that understood this film, but that was only becasue i'm good at understanding films that leave bit and pieces to the imagination, and make you say "What The...". So basically, good film, but i doubt many people other than myself would understand it.
What I collected. He's running late (Work? Hot Date? Not important) His scooter breaks down, so he has to grab his bike, then when he's going down the road, he gets hit by a car an knocked unconccious (Should've worn a helmet, Ian!!!) and in his unconcious dream, he sees what would probably happen if he was really late, like getting fired/ dumped/ whatever, and this knowlege allows him to not end up slashing his wrists in the bathtub.
Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!
You don't need a parachute to go skydiving. You only need a parachute to go skydiving twice.
see, now that's a guy with imagination, that's what more people need to think like... That's pretty much the conclusion i came too aswell. Except, i Figured he was going to work, i didn't even think of the Hot Date thing... Nice conclusion.
good acting, good filming, good editing. it is i have come to expect from you mushiman. i dont know how you guys put these films out so fast. everyone else is like "i'm working on a film and hope to be done by 2006" but you and ian are popping those things out left and right. nice job.
You're right, the film is about a guy who is late for work & get knocked off his bike & has a dream of what it would be like if he was late.
The reason we have a quick turn over in films is we don't plan ahead too much & i think it shows. Sometimes our dialogue is a bit loose 'n' stuff like that.
We like to keep busy MAKING films & not planning them, this is how it works mostly :
1) I say to Ian 'I have a day off tomorrow, fancy making a film?'
2) Ian says 'Yeah what about?'
3) We spend an hour or so on ideas.
4) Film the film.
