CGI

I hear a lot about CGI and stuff, but how can it be used what program is it linked with, can someone like me use it, what does it involve, and other stuff, someone please help.... I wrote a huge message, but I didnt enter a subject, so it didnt send, and I had to start again, tell me as much as u can :P

you don't want to start off with stuff like huge complicated spaceships. get a simple photo editing package like adobe photoshop and draw a laser or a lightsaber. then go on to more complicated stuff like alam dv, then try out adobe after effects and poser. There is a wide range of programs to use! ask Ornsack for more information.

Start with the basics and learn them well.

All additional techniques spawn from the basics.

I was also wondering, you see on movies how they move the camera, but the effect, like a cut on terminators face, or a spaceship stays at the same place - doesnt move with the camera, think that would be easyish to do with cinema 4d or something? or is there any other way?
