long a** script
how long do real scripts come out to be? im writing an involved script for my horror movie and its about half way done and its already 67 pages long (including actions and lines). if i post it, could you guys help me stream line it?

I wouldn't really set a limit, 'cos the rest of the plot will seem rushed, and if you have a secondary storyline (eg. romance) you might not get round to developing that fully.
You could just finish the script, and talk through it with ur cast and decide on the relevant bits and the bits you should cut.
PS: What is Stream Lining anyway? I'd help if I knew what it was.

Eleminate all of the non-essential stuf, screen directions etc... I've got a book from the American Film Institute that includes a section on writing scripts. One point made is that your script will not even be read if it includes camera directions. That is supposed to be the job of the director.

The exsepted cut off between feture legth and not is 90 pages, and the avrage script is 120 pages, which is a hard mark to f*** reach, and if you do, more power to ya.
