Well, I pretty much got two of my cams for free. I do a project for a university, they get a new camera, and I typically end up with it in the end!ssj3gohan wrote:GINO WHERE DID YOU GET THAT CAMERA FOR FREE, GIVE IT TO ME OR I'LL COMMIT A MURDER!!!!!

Well those three I still use. I have four though, one is an outdated Nikon. If I do a big project with friends, then I just use their XL1s!
I am in no mood to give anything away.

Very cool, but why are you using a sun glare shield indoors?

It's not a sun shade, it's a matte box with attached french flag. I guess I could have taken the french flag off but the matte box was still very usefull. I had three ARRI 1k lights set up (that's a lot of light bouncing around) so the matte box helps reduce incidental light.

And I suppose he composited the camera's shadow on the back cabinets as well? Or do I sense a tad of jeaslousy!?ssj3gohan wrote:he's just showing off, it's actually a picture of a very expensive camera pasted into that picture of him :p

theres my new cam. Paid $1300 for it, only had 2 hours on the heads and is in great shape. Only thing it didn't come with was the eyecup, but I'm going to grab a hoodman or I-cuff. Also have a wide angle adapter, uvfilter and shotgun mic on the way. Was going to buy a dvx100a but the fiance wants to know that 'm actually going to follow through with my deisre to make films before she'll let me throw down 4k on a camera. I guess the movies I've shot on my 1 CCD cam don't count?
